Having the spawn map uncentered is irritating

Every time I need to choose my respawn point, the map comes up and is not centered (presumably centered on where I died?).

Starting with the map centered on the screen so its all visible, including the HQ and its vehicles, would be much more useful and I dont know why they think its better to shove all that stuff off to the side every time. 

If there is a setting to prevent this from happening, im all ears. If there is not, there should be.
