Quick question: would anyone like to see bot-only matches return?

No.

Here are a dozen experience choices that can be started with just one person against bots.

It doesn't need a return, because it never left. It just takes more effort from the creator than the minimum cookie-cutter click-a-few-boxes effort that many people are willing to put forth.

There is no effort on your part. Just join one of the experiences provided; or ask for an experience you don't see.

For bot "only", host with a password.

They need to completely seperate the Single-player people from the Multiplayer people.

It truly cheapens the experience. 

How do single-player people with no unlocks or challenge progression affect you at all? If anything, single-player people need unlocks and progression. But I don't see you advocating for them.

I'd like it more for a break from the super sweaty matches that are all the time now. even casual breakthrough is super sweaty.  I just want to have fun, not pound Adderall and red bull just to play a video game.

It should have been in the game and worked exactly like the casual Breakthrough but without other players.

slower progression, no stats increase or reduction. Maybe they could also cap the mastery for it at 40.

It would still be slower for unlocks than playing vs a pure player lobby but more consistent as an experience.

Yes, I'd love to see them return. Playing against bots doesn't make me feel as anxious as playing PVP sometimes does at the moment. 

They should add it.

But

All weapons, gadgets and attachments should be unlocked for this mode and zero progression apart from battlepass progress and some skin challenges.

They could add solo stats to track your stats in this mode.

Just my opinion.

Absolutely needs brought back. Limited XP is fine or even some with no XP but can do challenges. I just want to play casually by myself or with my 1 friend against bots, not sweaty pvp. They advertised it, sold it, and stole it. Funniest part is there are still many XP farm lobbies, but I can't play a real pve match. The **bleep**?

Boy oh boy, this post is only slightly late to the party, lol. The ability to play bot matches solo and coop WAS in the game, and heavily advertised to boost initial sales numbers as well. But they removed it about 2 weeks after launch, just in time for the Steam refund policy to expire for those who were early buyers.

Apparently, you missed the memo because it's been discussed to death here already. I won't go into it. Needless to say millions have stopped playing the game due to the bait & switch.

These people who run this franchise took in maybe 100 million or so PvE player dollars... yet still to this day have not even so much apologized to the PvE community from whom they've literally stolen from, since bot matches were the only reason for many buying the game to begin with.
