Helicopter Mechanics & Physics

As a die hard battlefield 4 pilot and fan, playing bf6 helicopters feels like a fight to stay in the air rather than a fight for objectives. The new helicopter mechanics are not very easy to control especially on controller. I recommend to the developers to resort back to the battlefield 4 physics and controls for much easier play. The helicopters in 4 take time to learn but are much easier to master rather than the impossible to use helicopters in 6. Hope this helps change some things!

Im right there with you, They really need to bring back the bf4 physics and mechanics -_- the way that it is now they feel heavy and not very maneuverable, also theres so much crap on the way if you are on the inside POV also the helicopter is super squishy… PLEASE FIX THIS!

  • Please stop with this. Learn and adapt. It's not that hard. Join the portal 8V8G and learn how to fly. It's like you all can't handle something challenging. Now here's a YT video for you. You can stop crying about something that's only an issue for yourself and not the rest.

Yes, thank you. I appreciate it. The map on the portal is really useful. But I spent time learning to ride a bike once. Why would I waste time learning again?

I was in division 1 in BF3 and 4 for a long time. Easy ace pilot and coming into BF6… it wasn’t much of a change.

Yes it is noticeable it is different but it’s not drastic making flying impossible. Yes it would be nice for the same flight mechanics etc as BF3/4 but this is a new game with changes sooo we adapt.

It sounds like a skill issue. No issue staying in the air at all, unless you fly with a specific way like keyboard only and no mouse so I am honestly not sure how you can struggle if you could fly on previous games.

That says a lot about the kind of person you are. I kind of feel sorry for you.

But he isn’t wrong. If you were able to fly in previous BFs, you can do it in BF6 too.

There are some maneuvers you can’t do, and it feels a bit off sometimes, but it’s not nearly as bad as 2042 was. It’s playable.

The real thing that’s missing is a working air radar and gunner unlocks — especially the TV missile. Air-to-ground is OP af but also boring af. Give me a TV with that power for some fun times.

Let me tell you what kind of person I am. I'm a 50-year-old man with a job and a family and very little free time for myself. And in the few moments when I get my PS5 free, I want to have fun, not get angry that I have to learn to fly helicopters

Then you should know that if you want things in life, you have to work for them. But I guess you're accepting the 'can't teach an old dog new tricks' saying.
