Console only options. No one wants to play console vs PC. This should be the default. No one is buying this game for BR. Personally I don’t even want BR and would much rather have a large scale persistent warzone because BR isn’t Battlefield.
If I wanted to play BR, I would hop on COD.

Could not disagree more. One of the main reasons why there is soo much hype around this game is that it has a rumored BR mode, which has now been confirmed. Battlefield 6 universe and gameplay fits perfectly for a Battle Royale. Plenty of people will buy this game exclusively because it will have a BR mode.
Default should always be cross play on. It is more healthy for the game in the long run to have more people being able to play together.
As OP says, we need a balance between the inputs. So we do need some aim assist for controller, but It should not heavily favor controller players as in CoD. No snapping or rotational assist, while keeping the aim assist rather low. The recoil for the weapons needs to be the same for both inputs as well. During the beta the recoil was noticeably less while playing with controller.
More importantly, no SBMM or engagement based match making! - sci_fix-012 months agoRising Scout
Wake up its 2025 and BR is here to stay and cross play is recommended for 100 player lobbies to function properly.
This ain't 5v5 game modes where you dont need crossplay to keep matchmaking going.
