Hit reg or not

Can EA please use some better software, nice visual are only fun if the core game is not broken, being hit in cover or around corners is not fun. Yes, I get there are variables on a online game but these issues are far worse than R6 or Squad. I like BF6 but this aspect and the fact EA have done zero to fix it is a stain on the game.

    this game has alot of faults. this is just one of them. you could try firing when going round corners.

  • 100% agree, I mean who the hell makes an FPS in which the players weapons do not shoot straight or even worse you get 20 hit markers only to have that person 180 spin in your direction and hit you perfectly with 5 insta death shots, its pathetic. Did you people even consult with a veteran or active duty soldier, your weapon balancing is also a complete joke. Also Battlefield is battlefield and COD is COD stay in your lane, the maps are so small it is ridiculous. If I wanted COD style playing I would **bleep** buy COD.

  • The netcode and hitreg isn’t the best, kinda odd given past experiences. Maybe it is a connection issue more than a netcode issue. I just want to know why ea.help.com isn’t providing port forwarding? Very weird.

     I'm more into precision aiming to land shots, you know like in REALITY. Not the COD weapon physics where the faster you ads and fire the more rewarded with hits you are, even if your optic / muzzle is nowhere near on target. Hence why the majority of COD players only use, SMGs, because that's all you need in that train wreck. Was going to get a refund on the game stemming from the cheater issue, but decided to stick it out since they're actually fighting against it. But, after playing for a little longer and paying closer attention, the weapon and ballistics modelling is really bad. I play primarily, recon class with sniper rifle always equipped and I don't know if it is just me, but In previous BF titles. I actually had to calculate my shots, range my shots and my crosshairs had to be on the point I wanted to hit or else it was a wasted shot. In BF6, as long as I don't take the time to linger and line up a shot, and basically just quick scope. I'm landing head shots from a distance 85% of the time, when I know for a fact my crosshairs weren't even touching the body of my target. Yet, just like on the ignorant COD, when I actually have time to line up a shot and know it's a perfect 1 round and down, I'll get a hit marker. And to touch on the maps, I totally agree. It almost defeats the purpose to have a sniper class with maps and weapon physics like this. There are VERY few maps where you can actually play enjoyably as a threatening sniper. The maps that do offer that option, are washed out by the fact that SMGs, ARs & LMGs are just as effective if not more so, at long ranges. It completely defeats the purpose, all I'm seeing in the lobbies is a sweat fest of SMGs which is fine but at least try to model the physics as they should be and do something about the ability of rounds to "chase" people 10 foot around corners and through rock walls. Model it to where ppl actually need to have some controlled shooting skill other than how fast they can pull the trigger while they're ADSing.

    Agreed I hit at point blank range with a shot gun enemy dropped 1 health and then double tapped me with a pistol. As a minimum a shot gun at that range would know you over but most likely you would be dead as of course being double tapped would be.

    Yes some workaround or news of a fix would be good. The it’s the internet is not acceptable when the problem Is commonplace.
