Hit registration/desync lag — still broken after latest patch

Hey EA/DICE Devs,

I’m posting because the hit registration in Battlefield 6 is consistently awful, and the lag compensation behavior ispunishing good players. This isn’t just my imagination. There are multiple reports from other players describing thesame problem.

I’m having the same issue as these threads:

discussions/battlefield-6-general-discussion-en/the-lag-compensation-is-punishing-good-players/13501270

discussions/battlefield-6-general-discussion-en/battlefield-6-season-3-performance-and-netcode-issues/13424744

discussions/battlefield-6-general-discussion-en/is-the-netcode-in-bf6-wrong/12812865

About me (so you understand I’m not new or hoping it’s lag): I have been playing the BF franchise since 2002. I amlevel capped in BF 1942, BF Vietnam (gamer clanned), BF2 (gamer clanned), BF2142, BF1, BFV (level 350), andBF2042 (level 300). I am not claiming to be the #1 player, but I am experienced and I know the difference betweennormal desync and systematic bad registration.

What I’m seeing (repro pattern):

The in-game network/damage and map indicators tell me I am landing hits server-side. I am also seeing the visualHUD hit markers confirm shots connect. But then many of those hits never convert to damage/kill consistently.

Example outcomes: I can put 40-45 bullets into a player (server and visual HUD hit indicators confirmed), but only 20-25 register. With the M4, I may put 28 (almost full mag) into the target, but only 10-15 register. Then I get an almostinstant death from the same player, basically back-to-back with the same encounter.

This has been persistent for me regardless of: Server selection / regions Frame rate / settings changes (I toggled literallyevery option I could find that is discussed in the forums) Weapons / engagement ranges (same pattern shows uprepeatedly)

I have done the usual troubleshooting, then went way beyond it:

Windows 11 clean install from scratch Removed / uninstalled / reinstalled BF and wiped BF config/ref files

Network reset commands: ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /register dns netsh winsockreset netsh int ip reset

Ran a million speed tests (example: 1Gb down / 30Gb up) Still unplayable

Request to devs (what would actually help):

Please treat this as a netcode / lag compensation / hit registration issue and investigate it using player reports like thelinked threads (especially I am landing shots that register indicators, but damage/kill does not follow). If possible, compare server hit-confirm events vs client HUD hit markers and actual damage application for the affectedplayers/encounters (I am seeing consistent connect indicators without consistent damage conversion). Acknowledgewhether there is a known issue currently affecting hit registration/compensation tuning for some players, and whatsteps testers can take to reproduce it reliably.

Right now, with this level of inconsistency (including almost instant death from the same opponents while my shots failto convert), Battlefield 6 is functionally unplayable for me and a TON of others. I will be in a party to play with homiesand it is downright unbearable to play this game. Frankly it is really really sad that even an average player would haveto troubleshoot a shooter game that does not count bullets hit, much less someone willing to go to these lengths just tohave a fun experience with friends.

PLEASE escalate this, because the pattern is real, repeatable, and matches other players experiences in the EA forumthreads above.

Thanks.
