Horrible Character Rendering and others

Is anyone else experiencing terrible character rendering with scopes, and or just in general, as well as in world objects looking terrible? i mean looking like N64 007 GOLDENEYE characters. ive tried messing with all of my settings and this wasn't an issue before. im running a 9070XT and a 9800X3d with 64gb of ram so i highly doubt its my setup, the game looks terrible for me right now.

FSR is set to quality ive got texture detail on ultra, and other related setting on at least high...

any help from anyone else experiencing this?

  • It’s not your rig or your settings.

This game is really badly optimised.

The texture rendering and graphic pop-in is really bad in this game.

If you just walk around on a map, you’ll see textures and graphics pop in ahead of you as you walk. It looks awful. I did some testing by using the location ping for reference. Textures and graphics pop in ahead of you in as little as 67m in front of you. PS4 games are better than this. In BF6, if you see someone in the distance, you’ll ADS at them and find they are actually hiding behind something.

BFV had the same issue. Rotterdam is perfect example. You see someone across the canal, ADS, and find they’re hiding behind crates that weren’t rendered in.

Eastwood map on BF6. Conquest, D flag. You’ll often spawn in next to a hedge. And the hedge will pop in next to you after a couple of seconds after you spawn in. It’s frankly terrible, especially when you consider they consciously focused on next gen consoles and decent PC’s.

Personally, I think they capped the visuals because it was the only way to accommodate the destruction in BF6.

Graphics are generally blurry, even when ADS down a gig mag scope.

2042 looks a lot better. It’s crisp, clear and detailed.

Personally, I can’t think of one thing that BF6 does really well. Not one. This game has issues right across the board. From the UI, to crashes, game design, map design, weapon balancing, netcode, server performance, matchmaking, portal, missing settings/ functionality, etc etc.

This game hard crashed my PS5 Pro the other day. Just last night, ALL audio dropped out and never came back. Closed BF6, booted another game, audio is all good.

Never had this issue with ANY other game on ANY other of my PlayStations.

My friends have had enough of this game, and I’m getting real close.

It’s become boring and repetitive. Mostly because of poor game design and map design. It’s amazing how fast all the maps have become old and boring.

And the bad netcode and server performance just makes you want to turn it off and play something else.

Hate to be negative but people should look at the game for what it is. A half baked, confused game that doesn’t know what it wants to be.
