How does your enforcement team truly work?
So Im a little confused. I reported a player today for actively threatening someone else in game chat. Telling this person that he had their ip address and through their ip address their home address. Yet when I report it yall sit here and tell me theres nothing wrong with this. I have a literal screenshot that I took on my Xbox to prove it.
Yall want to tell me thats positive player character? Like all the other player did was say "nice try loser" and this dude started going off on him and making threats. Im escalating it to Microsoft as well because it was on Xbox. But be real EA.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to report this and bring it to our attention. We take any behavior involving threats, harassment, or intimidation extremely seriously, and there is absolutely zero place for that kind of conduct in our games or community.
Please note that I had to edit your post to remove the screenshot you shared. While I completely understand you included it as proof of what happened, our forum guidelines strictly prohibit naming and shaming or sharing Gamertags publicly to protect everyone's privacy and safety on the boards.
Although the forums are not the place to report this type of behavior, I am making sure this is escalated and reviewed once again by our team due to the severity of the threats being made. Moving forward, please continue to use the official in-game reporting tools whenever you encounter situations like this. While privacy policies prevent our enforcement teams from disclosing specific sanctions or actions taken against another player's account, those reports are actively logged and investigated. Thank you again for looking out for your fellow players and helping us keep the community safe.
