How to be sure "player" is a bot?

Hi!

Matches and scoreboards are filled with "players" having player like rank & name title but (Bot) behind username. There's no indication of their platform either. Are these bots or real players who troll? Check the attached screenshot below to investigate further this suspicious behaviour.

Very suspicious that bot would have class rank and username, which looks like real username, that usually are silly like these

Turn 'show ping on scoreboard' (or similar wording) on in options. It's under system -> network, I think.
You'll never wonder again. Real players have a ping. Bots have no ping.
Edit: you already have. Look at your screenshot. All player names with "(bot)" after them and no ping are obviously bots. If you see a player with bot in their name but they do have a ping, they are faking being a bot.

If the game is filled with a few (bot) then they are bots if the game is filled with 1 (bot) then troll

If "[BOT]" is at the end of the username and there isn't a platform listed, that'll be a backfill bot. If there's a platform listed as well as, that's most likely someone changing their username. All the ones in your screenshot are bots.

Initially the bots had military ranks as the username, same with BF2042, but that was changed in BF6 shortly after release. They've always had player ranks listed, though, to the best of my knowledge (same in BF2042).

The platform and ping is shown in the scoreboard. Some players think it's funny to put the word [Bot] behind their nickname it seems. I also seen two or three of them already.
