I'm loving Battlefield 6 but I feel bad for players that are new and unskilled

I feel like it would really be great if there was a true 'Casual' mode in this game that lets new and lesser skilled players enjoy the game without it being overrun by sweats. I know I've felt guilty as I'm over level 100 and I can just completely outthink and outgun these newer players.

I've even had multiple people mention they just want to chill and why are people taking it so seriously.  Well, I understand where they are coming from.

I think it would be easier for newer and less skilled players if you reduced the amount of human players in the match.

I suggest keeping 64 player lobby but limit it to 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 humans.  I think that would make it a bit easier for the newbies to have fun, mow down some bots, get use to the gun play, and not have to worry about being fleeced by the battle-hardened players.

Or maybe come up with NEWER bot game modes to cater to casual players.  Either way, throw them casual and newbie players a bone.

  • "Casual" game modes are like football matches for kids where they don't keep score...

  • The game is too casual. Everybody dies within few shots. Basically who shoots first wins. TTK is too fast. New players with lv 1 guns have awful experience for sure.

Other than that the matchmaking is at fault here. As we all know the game has sbmm but it does not work as an actual sbmm. A proper sbmm works like this:  you have a hidden ranking of some sort and everybody on your team and enemy team is about the same rank. This would be good for casuals. But the sbmm BF has is like broken. It puts you up against really good players while your team has like 5 good players rest is either bad or bots and the game expects the 5 good players to carry the game against a team will full good players. I am basically forced to leave 3/4 of the games where I see I'm in a bad team. Basically nobody plays objective. Nobody revives. score is like 0-1000. Enemy team everyone is good my team everyone is bots or afking or just camping and saving kd. As long as matchmaking is not fixed nobody will have a good experience.

  • Being a novice is tough in this game.  Face it, in RedSec you are fighting 25 or 50 other teams.  I'm at 148 and I STILL find it tough.

There are tips that appear on screen before games, like watch the ring of fire, look for civilian vehicles that might have loot, etc.  There should be a BIG BANNER that says "STAY WITH YOUR TEAM!".  More often than not, people "go solo" right at the start.  It's suicide.

And a more accessible practice area would be a big help to beginners.   BF4 had a comprehensive practice area right in the game.  You didn't have to go searching through other servers.

  • I don't feel bad....

They literally Nerfed the franchise for casuals...(Those people that slide run and jump when they aren't getting shot at.)

And even with all the nerfs..... Im Turtle Walking BF6...
