In-Game Coms / Request Order / “Go Go Go”
The ability to “Request Order”, “Go Go Go”, BF4 and BF1 Ping functionality, would all ultimately be a better and more classic battlefield experience. Most players do not understand how the Squad Captain roll even works. If you’re stuck in a squad without anyone giving orders - it is difficult to get your squad to stick together, players lack incentive to capture objectives, and overall is a stale experience. Why is there no “Request Order” that leads to the person requesting the order to be captain if none are given? Where is the energy in the game if players can’t scream “go go go”? I think that the text chat is nice, but it would be preferred to see In-Game coms like “thank you”, “request ammo/med” etc in the top left like previous titles, and have real support for Squad Captains. As someone that almost always would request order until becoming the squad captain, it’s been sad to see this game without these immersive experiences and feels like battlefield 6 isn’t even about squads. Remember when you could actually get first place just by playing the objective?
