Random Ban?

Yeah.. something similar happened to me in Arc Raiders..

I was playing with a colleague from work last night and suddenly got kicked out of the game and permanently banned. I've never done anything on the xbox. I even dont know how to cheat or duplicate the items.. 

The only thing is, I changed the controller from the vanilla xbox to the Gamesir G7 PRO zzz edition. And a few days later I got banned.

False positives can happen and I am not sure if they are taking them seriously enough
It is better to let a light cheater get away than to ban an innocent due to a false possitive.

Nobody can assist you with bans on the EA forums, bans are handled by the EA ToS team.

I use an EasySMX X20 on pc for sports games. I normally have it connected but never use it for shooter games. Hopefully this didn’t cause the issue. How long did it take you to hear back from EA & did they reserve the Ban?

That’s a great response if you don’t think about this at all and are a bit. (doesn’t clarify anything about why I was banned or the exact reason) 

The ToS team don't provide the full details, OJ_wasinnocent8​, as that information could be used by people to circumvent bans in the future. Due to this, they will only ever provide basic info, such as the ban reason. Unfortunately, all you can do is to appeal to them and hope that the ban is overturned. 

However, I don't think your EasySMX X20 controller would have been the cause, as it doesn't seem to offer anything like macros, unless you were using third-party software with it as well (like reWASD, for example).

There was no third party macro software or anything. EA has to issue a ban for a legitimate reason, and so far none has been provided. There is no legitimate reason for my ban

Your controller has built in cheats. Ban was legit if you had it plugged in on any platform.

Yes it has a built in macro...Turbo which can be used as rapid fire in BF6

Its built into the controller. Turbo is a macro my man.
