well dude I respect your play style and experience about the game. But the game isn't just designed for players like you who prefer to kill enemies at distance with high precision guns like LMG or DMR, players fighting at close range are suffering from the poor weapons balance
But for me, it’s hard to feel that any weapons have been obviously nerfed—and I’m not alone in this. Hundreds of thousands of players share the same opinion, whether on social media, Bilibili (China’s YouTube) content creators, chat group members, or offline friends. Everyone thinks weapons are easier to aim with.
What’s more, my complaints about the strength of weapons like the TR7 are objectively valid. Perhaps perceptions of game balance vary across different servers, but on HK and JP servers, for most smaller maps, you can only have a good experience using these meta weapons. In contrast, weapons like the AK205 and UMG40 can only yield good results in the hands of skilled players with deep map understanding.
These overly powerful weapons and the excessively short TTK have led numerous players to complain about the high intensity of matches. The ttk is too short for most players to even make a move after fired by enemies before killed, while in old BF there's enough time for us to get in cover. Average-skilled players barely get a good gaming experience, and many would even prefer higher latency over playing on HK servers.
To be fair on domination I do fine using long range weapons shooting people running around in the open like lemmings.
I get you though, if I choose to run around too then yeah only a handful of guns cut it but if im holed up covering a flank and someone with any of the high rpm guns runs past the gun isnt going to help them.

it's true that long range guns suit this play style well
but a big part of Battlefield is about to rush and clear the spots like in breakthrough mode, so short range fight is inevitable. If everyone is flanking or shooting at distance the team ain't gonna win
So it leads to my original points, some guns are too dominant in close range
