lol I think we were fooled again, BETA felt great, the big demo event had all the classic players, and we were ready. 2042 only became fun when they wanted to salvage whatever was left of that game, and eventually people were playing it hard.
I have played enough of 6. It just still feels like playing in the void, people don't even want to engage in team play and kids these days are so awkward that if you even try to voice chat you get reprimanded. Rarely are people playing the objectives, and the maps are just...tiny.
I think I'm just old and that nostalgia that I'm reaching for is not going to return. This paired with the obvious cheating has me just not really wanting to put the time in to play. Also on PC, the game stutters so much I'm confused to how you can have previous games as the template and make a game that's disconnected and stuffy.
We were leveling maps in 3 and 4. There was a counter for almost every dumb cheese a person could think of. Platoons were actually a thing. Rivalries were fun. This...is just the void.

No, you are not the problem at all, and you have done nothing wrong, except you expected a company that advertised a game as being able to play PVe and get full XP to honour that advertised mode.
This was then taken away AFTER people gave them their money.
I'm not even angry at the developers, I AM angry at Myself for being taken for a fool once again.
This is not only a case of false advertising, but is also one of deliberate misleading advertising.
If they had any decency about them, then they would offer refunds in full for the people that purchased this game to play it how it WAS advertised.
