This title is broken on many levels, which is why the problems you describe arise. Funny enough, previous installments in the series didn't have these problems – the problem is the lack of knowledge, experience, and creativity of the staff (including the person overseeing it) to properly develop it.
Maybe it's time to change the people in charge, look at previous Battlefield titles, the systems models that functioned (actually) there, and incorporate them into the new title. Trying to invent something that already existed and worked is just a waste of time and money.
Players need new maps, grounded in Battlefield – large maps where tactical team combat can be played. Surely, many would pay for DLC with maps from Battlefield 3 or 4.
