I really enjoy a single-player campaign, mostly because I didn't do a lot of multiplayer gaming before I got into the Battlefield series, so I'm looking forward to the one in BF6 very much. I'm quite pleased that it doesn't seem to be the same style as BF1 and BFV, with episodic stories, as while I enjoyed them, I felt that they limited the storytelling overall.
The ones that stick in my mind are the intro/first mission in BF4 (every now and then I fall apaaarrrrtttttttt), the final mission in BF4 where you have to decide who or what to sacrifice, the intro mission and the pigeon flight in BF1, and, despite what I said above, The Last Tiger from BFV (it reminded me a lot of "Johann's Tiger" from the Garth Ennis "War Stories" comic series).
The most frustrating one, without a doubt, was Forte et Fidele in BF1. I'm still traumatised from hearing 'I'M A STAND-UP KINDA GUY' so much while trying to unlock the Airborne Cannons codex. If memory serves, I had to roll back a patch and do it offline, so I could use the AA guns as they were before they were balanced in multiplayer, since the changes fed through to single-player.
Edit: And now I've got Total Eclipse of The Heart stuck in my head 🤣
