Agree completely. Cant even play with more then 4 friends in the same server at least.

Not true. I admit its not the best solution, but
have your friends in parties of 4.
One party leader must start matchmaking
The other party leaders must try to join that person.

This will get you into the same match and mostly same teams aswell. Almost always worked for us and we played many matches together with more than 4 players. Haven't tried with more than 8 players though.
