Liberation peak map

How many more months or years is it going to take you guys to patch these hills so that 40% of a team stops camping on them, doing absolutely nothing except farming kills? We have to constantly hunt them down on these hills just to kill them, only for them to run right back up there.

Guys, I seriously don't understand what you're doing all day in that studio and what you're actually working on. I honestly feel like 90% of your game is AI-generated. The BF Pro Token the exact same weapon two seasons in a row, with almost the exact same skin for that very same weapon. Why are we getting a skin for the exact same gun two seasons in a row?

My enjoyment of Liberation Peak is inversely proportional to the number of snipers playing mountain goats.

It was an integral part of the original design, meant to make sniping friendlier for beginners and newcomers: not only were the sniping mechanics themselves made easier, but a bunch of maps came with very obvious high points overlooking a bunch of objs to tell would-be snipers, "this is where you should go". The whole thing makes sense, but seems to have completely forgotten to take into account how it would feel to be on the receiving end. It also meant that newcomers would never PTFO when sniping: after all, the game quite implicitly tells them to stand there, not go gallivanting.

Thankfully, they've come back from that basic design since. But the question remains of what to do with those older maps that really feel unbalanced now. Alas, Liberation Peak is a tough one: making the mountain inaccessible would remove a lot of its character, you'd need a more subtle rework on lines of sight. And we know the team in charge of the live service is quite small... The reworks of Sobek and Blackwell are probably all we're gonna get in the immediate future.

It saddens me, as the dynamics of this map are actually quite good. If it weren't for matches too often devolving in sniper alley, it'd be one of my favorite maps from the initial offering.
