I like the map, I hate city maps, narrow streets

I have already played 6 matches on Tsuru Reef 3 on Escalation and 3 on Breakthrough and I have mixed feelings about it. It is just not my style. The map feels way too big. I spend too much time running around doing nothing. I am not that type of player. I love action and fast paced gameplay. Sorry boomers but even though I am no spring chicken myself at 36 my reflexes are still sharp. I want action and proper firefights. I heavily prefer maps like Siege of Cairo. In my eyes that map is still the only S tier map in the game. Bazaar does not give me the same vibe. I am not a CoD player either. Call of Duty feels too arcadey with maps that are too small. I prefer the sweet spot found in maps like Siege of Cairo and Iberian Offensive. Honestly I doubt I will be impressed by Wake Island either. I have never liked that map.

I have to say it feels somewhat too big. I guess people beware what they wish for...
My very first game, I ended up wandering for a couple of minutes without meeting anyone. It was an outlier, I wasn't sure where to go, but it definitely felt weird. But after a few more games, I think what I'm missing is clear lanes between objs, and yeah, you don't go on foot. It feels too much like individual fights around localized spots rather than a more cohesive fight.
It's definitely a vehicle-first map, much more than the revamped Golmud (the original was a nightmare for the infantry, I think this one is great). It's also weird: although it's a new map, there's a bunch of places that remind me of older maps - and that's probably done on purpose, and it's not good, it's just confusing.
I have to play it more, but unlike Golmud, I haven't spammed it, I've been happy to just add it in my rotation rather than go for the Tsuru All Out Warfare on repeat.

I don't think big maps are the problem. It's more the specific design of the big map.
Objectives need to be carefully placed, and things of Tsuru seem a bit too sparse and spread out unfortunately, and if you're in a bad squad, you'll be solo a lot.

Cairo and Iberian are not what I'd describe as the sweet spot! Both offer corridor shooter gameplay with short engagement distances.
But that's cool, if that's what you like, I personally don't play Battlefield for that experience most of the time.
Good thing we have the custom search so you can choose the experience you're after as Battlefield 6 continues to expand and offer the whole playerbase diverse gameplay experiences in conquest mode.

I like the map but I think they need to up the player count to at least 50v50. Map is huge and could be more balanced with more players cause if you don't find a vehicle it does take awhile to get to the action.

Play Breakthrough. No choppers and very few armored vehicles

I'm a boomer run and gunner and had plenty of action.
