Literally all EA had to do was remake battlefield 3 or 4

This lot are just not good enough, a simple remake would have been better then battlefield 6. The quality of the devs across the board is just nowhere close to those who made Battlefield 3 or 4.

Perhaps it would simply have been better to remake the earlier games, if the level is just not good enough the board from the team.

The whole atmosphere is just not there, there is no conflict you are a part of, it just feels like separate little battles where there factions and outcomes doesn't matter. At no point does it feel like you are a part of a bigger conflict, or should care about the factions involved.

The maps are worse then those from battlefield 3 and 4... they don't feel like active war zones or play interestingly. There is no flow to them whatsoever.

The character models all look silly and cartoonish, not remotely realistic or serious. You might as well give every players a hat with a propellor on it.

The creative choices made by this team are just so silly and poor compared to Battlefield 3 and 4... that it really raises the question about the ability of the Devs.

If your objective was to focus on micro transactions, then you might want to make skins and weapons players might actually want. By lord, I've never felt so utterly uncompelled to buy skins as in this game. It's as if the ai program you have making this stuff just randomly changes colours on the existing ugly skins.

  • Indeed, it made you feel like you played a part in the war. In battlefield 6 I would be hard pressed to tell you the names of the parties involved. You are not part of any identifiable collective in any case, and it doesn't help that the servers aren't persistent either... or that the results of previous conflicts carry over to the next battle or effect it in any way. Basically it's all meaningless gibberish.

  • I swear they dont even have to change anything about bf3 just the graphics  bf3 was my favorite battlefield and always will be if the servers where up ill still be playing bf3 is the battlefield that motivated me to join the marines the way they portrayed the marines and the Russians was what gave it its charmed without that battlefield feels soulless to me

  • This'll probably be an unpopular opinion in the community, but I don't want a remake of BF3 or BF4. Partly it's because I don't have any nostalgia about them, since I didn't get into the series until BF1 and worked backwards from there, and partly because I personally think remakes are lazy in general (this includes films too). All too often the remake isn't as good as the original either, in my experience, and comes across as a cash-grab.

I would have prefered BF2... when vehicules, infantry class and SQUAD had an importance... In BF6... nobody gives an F about staying with the squad... Sorry for my English
