It's a fair point, but i still believe c4 and other explosives like it should rely on the support class to resupply. It's been a core mechanic since the oldest game (I can't speak on older games before bc2/bf3) so unfortunately that's just how the game is.
See that's the thing. Support has almost always been able to resupply themselves with unlimited C4. This is the way it worked in BF3, BF4, BF1, BFV, and BF2042. It is the most fun way to play the game in my mind, and so I was incredibly devastated to learn that it wasn't a thing any more in BF6 since the support class no longer has C4.
