Make Support able to use C4 again

In previous titles, Support always had the choice to equip C4. I don't understand the decision in this game to restrict C4 to only Recon. It overly restricts the "open" nature of the game and forces previous C4 users to use Recon. As a Support player in every Battlefield since Battlefield 3, this makes this game feel way more restrictive in comparison.

Why is C4 even a class specific gadget? Wouldn't every class benefit from having the choice to swap out one of their class specific gadgets for C4. Having it on only Recon also doesn't make sense from a class standpoint. Recon's are usually very far away from the action and won't get any use of the C4. Thx for reading my ted talk.
