Manhattan Bridge A/D/E

Please do something about the rooftop camping on Manhattan Bridge.

This camping on the A and E site as well as on top of D is really killing the map flow.

You have no ability as an infantry without the Helicopter to counter this cause you can‘t get there with ropes or ladders. I don‘t even get why u can‘t get on top of D from the first floor in this building. Everything is blocked.

Make it possible to get there via ropes like on B. Otherwise this is going out of hand every round.

good map, stupid exploits.

It just got more and more of a problem as the attack Helicopter was replaced with die little bird. Which makes more players get in to the air and jump out everywhere they want.

I saw other discussions already about it. I just wanted to point it out one more time again so the community may be heard.

I really like the map. But it becomes more and more problematic getting certain points when there are enemies and spawn beacons on rooftops you can’t possibly get to as Infanterist.

And you can’t always rely on the Helipilots to do something about it either. Espacially when the enemy pilot constantly kills the friendly heli at spawn.

  • Thank you for your feedback. Totally understand that when certain rooftop positions lack effective counterplay, it can impact the overall balance between offense and defense.

The team has been continuously reviewing and adjusting similar high-ground scenarios. For example,

    Update 1.1.3.0

    • Adjusted Conquest and Escalation capture areas on Manhattan Bridge so objectives can no longer be captured from rooftop positions.
    • Extended rooftop out-of-bounds areas on Empire State, Manhattan Bridge, and Saints Quarter.

    Update 1.2.1.0

    • Fixed an issue in Sabotage where attackers could reach elevated positions and spawn-camp the defending team on Blackwell Fields.
    • Fixed an issue on Siege of Cairo where players could reach the top of buildings in Sector D3 using the Deployable Cover gadget.
    • On Manhattan Bridge, fixed an issue where players could stand on top of the bridge, creating unintended gameplay advantages.
    • On Empire State, fixed an issue where players could capture Point B (Sector 2) on Breakthrough from an unintended upper floor.

Regarding your point about the current gameplay on Manhattan Bridge, I’ll pass this along to the team so they can review it in the context of the intended design.
