Matchmaking, Playlists and Servers
Over my time in BF6 I've noticed I end up in significantly more bot matches than most in my region (North America) however, until recently I didn't know this game was region locked. (Forcing region locking but NOT class locking is kinda funny). The problem here is that I work overnights so my time playing is mostly spent early mornings, and in the middle of the night on my days off, when very little amounts of people in my region are playing... hence the constant lobbies of 40+ bots.
I feel another issue alongside this is that there are too many playlists, as of the time of writing this there are 11 playlists, 14 if you count the RedSec stuff, and all the portal servers on top of that. I personally think all the "CQB" modes should just be under one singular mode, and the others should be just "All Out Warfare" and "Attack & Defend" this would bring it down to 8 plus portal - if people want just one mode they could search for a portal server to their preference on that. I would also request that there be Closed Weapon versions of both of those at all times, instead of treating the people that want to play BF like how it was intended to be initially like a neglected old dog and giving a singular, ROTATING playlist.
On that note, yes I could just look for a portal server of closed weapons. However the portal searcher currently sucks. You NEED to add the ability to filter OUT certain tags/modes. I do not want to play hardcore, which is the vast majority of the portal closed weapon servers.
Lastly, I don't know why you got rid of them in the first place but we need to bring back Rolling servers at the VERY least for the Attack/Defend playlist so you actually get a chance to play BOTH attack and defense and it isn't just a coin toss on what you get. But I do feel (and I don't know logistics this is just my personal opinion) that this would also solve a decent amount of the waiting for people to fill a lobby - if you were already in a lobby with people - You stay in a lobby with people - Crazy. This also means you could/might have to re-add the auto balancer that existed back in the golden days, but it is definitely possible.
Anyways I hope you give these points some consideration at least, coming from a long time player since BFBC2.
