Mistakenly Banned as a Disabled Player

Hi everyone,

I’m posting here because I honestly don’t know where else to turn, and I’m hoping the Battlefield community might listen where automated systems haven’t.

I was permanently banned from Battlefield 6 for alleged “gameplay enhancement.” The problem is: I’m a disabled gamer born without arms or legs, and I rely on controller remapping software simply to play any PC game at all. Without it, I can’t move, aim, or interact. It doesn’t give me an advantage—it gives me access.

I preordered the highest edition of BF6 out of love for this franchise. Battlefield has been part of my life since I was young, and I’ve enjoyed every iteration up until now. Being permanently banned across all platforms feels devastating—not because I lost a match, but because I lost the ability to participate entirely.

What hurts most is that I was never shown proof of what caused the ban. The use of accessibility software was never explicitly cited—I’m left guessing. I’ve reached out through appeals and EA Accessibility, but I haven’t heard back yet.

I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for recognition that my accessibility tools are not cheats, and that systems designed to stop bad actors shouldn’t exclude disabled players by default.

If anyone here has experienced something similar, or knows how to get visibility on cases like this, I’d truly appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
