I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. How are mortars in BF4 and BF1 so easy to aim and so fun to use while in BF6 the mortars are such utter and complete TRASH???
Who in their right mind decided it was a solid design choice to permanently have the mortar spotted on the minimap as well as 3D spotted IN THE GAME WORLD? It’s as if Mortars on BF1 and BF4 never existed.
More OVERWHELMING evidence that the Neu DICE devs have never really played much BF4 or BF1. If they did play and used the mortars, they’d be laughing their **bleep** off at how insanely unintuitive BF6 mortars are to aim and how totally ineffective the BF6 mortar is overall. They’d laugh at Mortars being permanently spotted too. It’s not necessary. We have the proof via millions of gamer hours using mortars in BF1 and BF4. Mortars are easily countered via the other team using ….wait for it… their own Mortars.
Easy fix guys. Take the best aspects of the BF1 BF4 mortars and make it happen in BF6. To include fixing the HORRIBLE, UNINTUITIVE aiming via the pop up minimap in BF6 and removing the permanent 3D spotting and permanent minimap spotting.
I swear whoever implemented the aiming for the BF6 mortar is not from the planet earth. X and Y axis are swapped but then up/down and left and right is also reversed!!! Add insult to injury there is no way to remap mortar aiming in SETTINGS. How lazy is DICE??
