Hi, I have had a similar problem today after updating to a PS5 Pro from the standard PS5 (using the same monitor Odyssey G7 1440p 240hz HDMI 2.0). I have no other issues with any other games, Arc Raiders, Apex, GT7 or Fortnite. Ai believes it's due to the bandwidth (handshake between the monitor and the console) and suggests dumbing down the setting on the PS5 Pro - 1080p, turning off PSSR and 120hz. I was then able to get into a game for 5 mins before it crashed again. Ai response below:
Battlefield 6 fails to run properly on your HDMI 2.0 monitor because of how the game's specific software treats your display settings, not because your PS5 Pro hardware is broken.Your console's hardware is completely healthy since every other game runs perfectly using that exact same HDMI port, cable, and monitor.Resolution handshake failure: The game's engine fails to negotiate a proper video "handshake" with older HDMI 2.0 bandwidth limits, causing a black screen, crash, or severe rubber banding.
Why This Proves Your Hardware Is FineIsolated failure: If your PS5 Pro graphics chip or HDMI port were physically broken, every game would crash, artifact, or fail to display.Other games work: The fact that your other titles run smoothly proves the console is successfully outputting a clean video signal.
Will there be a patch?

If I hear of any possible resolutions for this, I'll provide an update. Otherwise, I still recommend contacting Sony support since this is not an error coming from BF6.

Thought I’d chime in on this..
My PS5 Pro hard crashed while playing BF6 the other night.
Froze completely. Screen froze and I had a continue audio tone coming out my home theatre speakers.
Never had this with any other game or any of my other PS5’s.
Just BF6.
Also, the audio cut out completely on a seperate occasion the other night.
Closed BF6, booted another game and had no issues. Audio was all good.
Whatever is going on with BF6, it is clearly not an optimised game.
In fact, BF6 is more of a hardware concern if I’m honest.I don’t appreciate my expensive hardware (Oled, home cinema setup, PS5 Pro) being subjected to hard crashes.

It’s not a console issue though as the crashing only happens when trying to play battlefield 6 no other game has this issue happen for me

That's an error coming from your console. Please contact Sony support so they can troubleshoot it. Thanks!

I get the error code CE-108255-1. I have deleted and re installed the game several times I have restored the license of the game and Rebuild the database of my ps5 but nothing I do seems to fix or even lessen the problem I’m having

When it crashes it takes me completely out of the game and onto the screen where it askes if you want to report the issue or not with the video footage attached

Hi there. What is happening when BF6 crashes? Are you getting an error message?
