My feedback
Okay, dear developers, here's my feedback (from a loyal veteran; played every single game on PC since BC2, except Hardline - if it's important somehow).
All in all, the game is great. Fantastic sound, works incredibly smooth, feels insane - I think I cannot add anything new to what has been said by other people, so I'll leave it at that.
Here's the list of problems / wishes:
1. Maps. Their size in particular. A MAJOR problem. Even the biggest ones are very small. I know that you're trying to drag certain demography to your side, and I know that all these CoD refugees don't want to "run for 10 minutes before getting sniped", but this is the very core of Battlefield that cannot be betrayed. Battlefield was always about scale and depth that allowed you to play both tactically and strategically. On these maps, there is no place for strategy. Scout class is not very useful either because of that. They are so tight that you can't walk 20 meters without getting shot from somewhere. You refused to add 128p modes and maps to BF6 because people complained it was boring; there reason for that was not the size of the maps, but their design. When you added Iwo Jima to BF2042, it was screamingly obvious. That map is both very big and well-designed (like pretty much every map in BF5, which is the perfect game in terms of balance of things). Even with 64 players, it always feels like a huge battle of two armies, because it's not a flat field with a bunch of containers, like most 2042 maps. Honestly, at this rate, I'd be okay if you added BF5 maps to BF6, but of course I would prefer new ones. One way or another, BF6 NEEDS bigger maps! it's a priority!
2. Something must be done with the menus. The work weirdly, react weirdly (sometimes, when you click on something, it gives you the empty screen, and when I use mouse scroll, it scrolls everything randomly). But most importantly, you must highlight new unlocks somehow. It's not like we can and need to memorize 10+ unlocks after each round, especially with the final screen being active for about 20 seconds.
3. One disappointing thing about BF6 so far is the lack of innovations. Aside from dragging the wounded (which is also not a new thing, since it was invented for BF5), this is the first Battlefield that puts nothing new on the table. Maybe you'll figure out something in the future.
4. TTK should be faster. Or bullet damage - higher. It's not normal when you need to put 20 of 30 bullets from your magazine into enemy's chest to kill him.
5. Maybe you need to add some additional punishment for skipping revival if there are medics in the vicinity. Like, if you bleed out normally and spawn again, it takes 10 seconds (for example), but if you skip, you need to wait 5 more seconds.
6. Remove swear filter altogether, please. We're all adults here.
7. At the moment, marking of the enemy and marking of some random place are connected to the same button. I have this reflex of pressing Q before shooting since BF4, so I can mark the enemy for my team first. Now, if the enemy is hiding behind the stone, for example, I'm putting a bunch of marks on the map instead of marking him. I don't think these marks are necessary at all, to be honest.
8. Future updates? Aside from BIGGER MAPS, return of sea combat would be nice. I also miss the mechanic of calling for aid for a good squadplay from BF5. The ability to call for an artillery strike or something like that would be tremendous.
I think I forgot something, but that will be all for the moment. Thank you, and keep up the great work!
