My honest feedback to the development team of Battlefield 6
Feedback on the Battlefield 6 Beta
First of all, I want to say that the game feels very responsive and fun to play overall, and I'm really enjoying the beta. The core gameplay is great, and the time-to-kill (TTK) feels well-balanced.
However, I have some specific feedback regarding a few areas that I believe could be improved before launch:
1. Maps and Vehicle Presence
The map design, particularly on the smaller maps, can sometimes feel chaotic. I believe this is largely due to the presence of vehicles in these tighter environments. Removing vehicles from the smaller maps could significantly improve the flow and reduce the feeling of clutter and chaos, making the infantry combat more focused and enjoyable.
2. Performance and Technical Optimization
While the game is visually impressive, I'm concerned about the raw rasterization performance. Many players have to rely on upscaling technologies like DLSS to achieve a stable framerate. While DLSS is a great technology and likely the future of gaming, it still introduces a small amount of input delay that affects the experience for competitive play.
I would strongly suggest that the development team focuses on improving the raw performance of the game so that players can get a great framerate without needing to use upscaling, giving them a choice between visual fidelity and absolute low-latency performance.
3. Player Awareness and Teamplay
I also think it's important to remind players that Battlefield is a tactical team-based game, not a "one-man mission." Clearer in-game communication, tutorials, or even prompts could help new players understand the importance of working together to achieve objectives, rather than simply focusing on individual kills.
Thank you for your hard work on the game. I'm looking forward to the final release!
