New map is PEAK Battlefield - Amazing Job Devs !!

Before i write what i think of the new map: There is one thing drastically needed.
When  A - E- G- H are capped - Please spawn Jet-ski or one rib boat or a motorbike at said location to help the flow. You see (Devs) there are still people incredible selfish in this so when they see a boat, car, bike, They just drive off leaving some of the ppl that helped to cap said point behind to run, And even if you run fastah with the knife and their is always something going on on this map... It can still be a bit of a run. With a rib-boat or a jet-ski popping up, At least there are a bigger chance that more ppl can get off said point quicker if they want to get into the action around next flag faster and not play it slower looking for incoming inf or defend the surrounding flag area etc. It was a thing in Battlefield 4 and worked great.

Other then that. This map is absolute PEAK imo.

I just played 2h non stop on said map and what can i say. It truly feels like Battlefield is back and heading the right way. Great flow between the points with a lot of options to find cover and shoot back, Great cover AROUND the points. Before trying i was a bit afraid that the points might have been a bit too spread out. And even if D-F can feel like a bit of a run (even  I-H), There is always so much action happening everywhere that you never truly feel like you run around like its 2042 looking for a fight.

There is always a boat heading to a point, A helicopter dropping off infantry, A point "flag" going down that you need to change direction towards. There is always something and it keeps you on your toes even when you are not "around" the flags. Its great!

The wave / water system is absolute 100% peak and give me 100% Paracel Storm Vibes. Love it.

Now going forward: NOT ALL maps (duh) have to be like this but when you create bigger maps now and going forward, THIS have to be your base-line regarding "flow" on the map and overall "feel" and going on how Wake Island looks, You are again, Heading the right way.

-------

To the people that complain and say they have to "look for fights" and want 50/50 ppl or barely shoot anyone. That is what happens when you dont fight over points. This gameplay / map  is what the Battlefield community have been asked for sense the release of this game. If you want a fight you go to the points, There dont have to be action every, single, second of a round. Every map dosent have to be the chaos of Bazar or one of the "smaller maps" in this. Sometimes it do you good to slow down and play more tactically with the rest of the team.

We have asked a long time about a map where there is "breathing room" on the map and this is exactly what we asked for. If you have to run around for 3 min and barely see anyone YOU are doing something wrong.

My stats during my 2h have been something like 15-10 / 20-12 .

Spawn on a boat, plane, helicopter, Jeep, car, bike, team-mate and get into the fight. Idk WHERE you are running around if you have to actually look for a fight? I feel i am surrounded 90% of the times on this map and i love every second of it

I don't get the hype. It is unenjoyable. Running for 5 minutes just to get sniped or killed by a helicopter or someone camping in the bushes is not fun at all. There is zero gameplay. Maybe if you are just camping on one objective and defending sure but that is awful boring gameplay.

Where are you running for 5min? :o

Spawn on a squad m8? Spawn on vehicles, Spawn in helicopters and jump out.  I just dont understand when people say that they have to run around looking for people in this (nothing bad towards you). But it might be that i played A LOT of bigger (almost only) maps in BF3-4 and i am use to how to move between flags etc to find enemies fast. (aka: i figure out pretty fast how people move between flags and run to "meet them" head on  between the flags. I run around an an RPG and usually have like 15-18K and 14-15D in every game (I know i suck at staying alive).

But i am 90% of the time on  this map in some kind of action. As soon as i die, I find the nearest flag either under attack or taken. Find the closest spawn and sprint towards it, while keeping in my head: If they come this way: WHERE do THEY run. And 99% of the times i run into 1 or 2 people. Then on point its a slaughter for a while.. then repeat. Ofc: on maps like these there need to be said:  The flag your SL mark is THE ONE you go to 99.99% the times.

But to be fair: i think its just you that need to learn the map more and then you kick **bleep** also. Stay  in it.
Otherwise m8, There are always smaller CQB maps. Nothing bad playing them instead of this if you enjoy em more.

I played almost all of the battlefields a lot including 2042 which has double the size of maps of reef and I know how to get around yet it is still awful.

Well, Then i am happy to tell you that there is about 5+ (and more) CQB maps so you aint forced to play on the bigger BF maps. Just like in BF3 and 4. There is something for everyone.

I wish I loved it. Feels like I'm missing out not playing the map so I force myself but it is unenjoyable. Maybe because the matchmaking is just putting me into the weak loser team all the time. This definitely not helping. Had 12 rounds won 3 times on reef. oof

yea i get that feeling m8. Thats a feeling thats borderline impossible to escape from i would say sadly,.

But i can tell you as one of the "older people" that mostly played BF(s) bigger maps back in the day and struggled with maps like Metro / Karkand/locker (bf4)... I felt i was missing out on the maps this game was released with that a lot of ppl seemed to love. But i could not just do it and had to put (un-install) the game for awhile because i was hitting my head into a wall. It was just to fast, To quick and i died in seconds.I could never find good angles and wherever i ran i always got shot. It was just not the TTK it was the overall gameplay that did not click at all.

To be fair: I struggle with Bazar also but i force myself to play because my friends love it and i do have found my "area" on that map so i at least get 5 or so kills lol.

This map is great (for me), Perfect size, If i wanna be in the action ala CQB i be around the flag, If i want the regular (slower) guerilla style warfare that. Lets hope the maps (3?) that will arrive in season 5? (just rumored) will be some real nice ones. One for each gamestyle.
