Open Vs Closed weapons False/Scewed data

So just found out about the rediculous decision to stick to Open Weapons, whats even more annoying about this is the shady way of dealing with it and providing false/scewed data, this is pretty much how Activision would deal with something like this.

You claimed that the difference in people playing Open Vs closed Weapons was 1-2% yet on the first weekend Close weapons Conquest was hidden behind like 2 menus to even find it!
On the second weekend you hid it again but this time made it a Moshpit style mode and combined it with Conquest and Breakthrough, meaning if you didnt like breakthrough then couldn't play Closed Weapons Conquest and was forced to play Open Weapons conquest.

Yet still 49%-51% of the players was willing to put up with this absolute nonsense and jump through hoops to play it anyways because they wanted to finally play a real Battlefield experience for the first time in several years. So now imagine how your precious data would look if you didnt hide and deliberately make people not want to play the playlist it would have easily been the most played option by a mile.

A difference of 1-2% when you made it so difficult to find and play is all the proof you need to ditch this stupid system.

Are you referring to this article?
    https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-6/news/community-update-play-your-way

If so, I think you need to read the article again. You did not understand the content. The class pick rate was almost identical between the two playlists, with a 1-2% difference at most. That does not mean that the difference in people playing the open vs closed playlist is 1-2%.

"Lastly, another key insight from the Open Beta was that the vast majority of players, after trying both playlist types, chose to stick with Open Weapons. This reinforces our belief that Open Weapons is the right path forward for Battlefield 6. At the same time, we recognize that some players prefer the Closed Weapons experience. To support them, official Closed Weapons playlists will be available at launch."

  • This is the key point:

"At the same time, we recognize that some players prefer the Closed Weapons experience. To support them, official Closed Weapons playlists will be available at launch."

I played a lot of the Battlefield series and I played in the BF6 open beta, and I had no problem with the difference between open or closed weapon playlists.

If the choice is offered, what's the problem?

I don't know what you expected from the people that lied to us about getting a server browser only for it to be a Portal browser which was already a thing.
