Operations Augur has huge potential
I’ve been playing the new Operations Augur mode and honestly, it’s one of the most interesting additions to BF6 so far. The concept feels fresh, immersive, and very true to the Battlefield experience.
That said, it’s a bit disappointing to see that the mode is limited-time.
I understand that right now there is only one map combination available, which probably explains why it isn’t permanent yet. But I really hope this mode will be expanded in future seasons.
Operations has huge potential, whether it’s through new maps designed to flow naturally into each other, the possibility of bringing back iconic legacy map combinations like Seine Crossing → Operation Metro, or by adding more variety to objectives to avoid repetitive gameplay and keep each phase engaging.
This mode could easily become a core Battlefield experience if properly supported.
It would be a real shame to see something this promising disappear simply due to a lack of content at launch. With more maps, combinations, and varied objectives, Operations Augur clearly deserves a permanent place in the game.
