  • KB + mouse

    Yaw = A / D

    Pitch Up = Space

    Pitch Down = L SHIFT (can use L CTRL instead)

    Alternate you can reverse:
    Pitch up = L SHIFT (can also substitute  Left CTRL)
    Pitch Down = Space

    Roll = Mouse

    W = throttle up

    D = throttle down / brake

    fire = left click

    switch weapons = mouse scroll

    switch weapons = also can use mouse 4 or 5

    zoom = right click (I set mine to hold)

    can set afterburner to either Z, C, or L ALT

    Set free look and cockpit mode / free camera so its within easy reach of left fingers while resting on WASD

    notes: I used to use pitch up on W and down on D, but found (for me ergonomically) since most of the time you are climbing (diving) hitting space and L SHIFT to dive is easier.
    and mouse set to roll

    That said, I'm too used to flight sims and HOTAS, so for BF 1 till now (skipped 5 n 2042 but peeps tell me I missed out in 5 since a/c were good in 5, and 2042 I got into it for BF 6 battle pass and wanted to learn flying so I flew stuff there), so I use  a controller for aircraft and mouse and KB for infantry / ground vehicles.
