PC players can turn off crossplay but . . . .

PC players can bypass this by editing the PROFSAVE_profile file in the game's settings folder to set GStGameplay.CrossplayEnable to 0. Steps to Disable Crossplay on PC:

( Make a copy of your PROSAVE_profile before use do this )

Navigate to your Documents folder: \Documents\Battlefield 6\settings\.

Locate the file named PROFSAVE_profile.

Open this file using Notepad or another text editor.

Find the line GStGameplay.CrossplayEnable.

Change the value from 1 to 0 (e.g., GStGameplay.CrossplayEnable 0).

Save the file and restart the game.

NOTE!! Consequences of Disabling Crossplay

Longer Matchmaking: Lobbies may take significantly longer to fill, as you are restricted to other PC players who have also disabled the feature. Bot-Filled Lobbies: If the system cannot find enough players, your lobby may fill with AI bots.Potential for Issues: Editing game files might be reverted by game updates or cause instability. While console players (PS5/Xbox Series X/S) have a native, in-game menu option to toggle crossplay off under Settings > System, this toggle is not available in the PC version.

So if PC players to this there will be a better experience with the game. ( Providing other PC players do the same. )

Hope that helps!!

I did the disable thing....it worked.  However, it took forever to get a game to load up and probably 95% were bots.

    RAGE-FPS-BF is correct...it shows a PC symbol.

I can attest, though, that I hooked up a controller to my PC and played a game and had 18 kills.  The only game I use a controller for is RachetLeegue (hard to drive a car otherwise).  I never (no NEVER) use a controller otherwise.  Can't play xbox with my kids because I can't do a controller very well.  This game though...well, 18 kills in a match was child's play.  It was soooooo OP that I stopped using it after that one map because it was literally cheating.  This is NOT the way games are supposed to be played.  I don't mind a controller user having a little bit of aim assist, but, the OP aim assist with less bloom and ability to track players in smoke is ridiculous.  Controller players will tell you that my comment is not true.  However, they probably know better and "want" the extra advantage.  If they don't have an advantage, then something is wrong with their settings...that's on them though.

Again, TL:DR, a properly set up controller is a cheat....plain and simple!

Worried it was like that. I used to play on controller back in BFV on the xbox but as soon as I could play M+K I did. Was never a very good controller player myself. I can handle the aim assist but the recoil reduction (Basically a 25pt verti without penalty) is ridiculous. There are some beast controller players out there now running around with this huge advantage. Honestly if  it were up to me if you have low SPM and sub 1 KDR you get the recoil reduction and full aim assist. Anything over that and no recoil reduction. I have not played on controller in BF6 but I do find the accuracy of casual controller players pretty high. Hopefully we get a limb multiplier added in season 2 so the TTD is reduced somewhat
