22 points captured requires more than just “running with the mob”. But more generally speaking, I don’t care much for people throwing stats of any kind as if it were proof of anything. I had someone mocking me for having only 8 kills in a match, but I happened to have C4’ed three tanks in that match, each time while defending a point. Stats don’t necessarily reflect the quality of the contribution.
Someone proposed replacing the capture number by time spent on an obj: that way, you don’t get a lot of captures just by spawning on your teammates that have done the actual work, and you get more reward for defending. I can see some issues with this too, but still maybe a good alternative?
That being said, the most common diss and boasts I see in the chat are about KDR. If diss and boasts are a requirement, I’d much rather it were about captures than KDR: people not trying to capture is an issue, I never heard of people not trying to get kills.

I personally believe KDR is an apt representation of someone's performance, high KD low capture is something I see on defensive players denying backcaps. Every kill is a kill denying another player on the point, every kill is another tickets bled in Conquest. But I do think the suggestion to change from capture points count to time on OBJ is a way better representation of OBJ play.
