Performance is dismal.

I am barely able to play the game at Medium settings give or take, on 7900 XTX and 5800X3D, fairly recent and decent hardware.

Previous titles running on the same engine run butter smooth with the same hardware.

BF6 does not look better in any way visually to justify such high resource usage, I hope some serious optimizations are coming but I'm not gonna keep my breath..

  • This is why I got Xbox series X and play mouse and keyboard. Got burnt out with PC gaming. Having to update drivers, install up to date hardware, etc. JUST to play a new game. PC gaming is such a hassle and a costly one at that. Money wise and time. Zero, I repeat, zero issues gaming on my series X.

Can't deny I have though about switching to console, it's beyond frustrating how little game developers care about how their game runs (let alone the fact it's not even the game it used to be).

In any case, if I was cautiously optimistic as to all the people who were warning me not to preorder the game and was not taking seriously, I will certainly not be preordering in the future. It's beyond insulting that not only you change the game entirely from what it used to be into COD galore but if now even having it run alright is asking too much.. I'll put my money where my mouth is for any future titles.

    Enjoy that cash EA.
