PLATOONS?!

I cannot seem to find any word from EA on the reintroduction of platoons. Pre-release there was word that this was a feature they were going to bring back. We are now months into release and there has not seemed to be any chatter on the topic. 

EA - You do realize that this feature MADE titles like BF3/4 GREAT. I could care less for the dedicated servers, i want platoon tags and the option to squad up together. There is no sense of unity in this game anymore. 

Please for the love of Battlefield bring platoons back. I am sick of changing my PSN username to incorporate clan tags.
