Player models are too similar for both sides, making hudless unplayable

In the beta there was only a small set of play models, and while very similar, had some differences in tone and equipment that made it passable to play without a hud. I, personally, love battlefield for hud-less playing. There's always a wealth of useful information provided through animations, effects, and especially with sound.

Battlefield 1 and 5 did a fantastic job of each side having unique player models and enough visual indicator to tell which team a player was on. French in blue, Germans in black, Americans in green, etc.

Battlefield 2042 I never played, so no idea how easy it was to tell friend from foe on playermodels alone.

Battlefield 6.... well the beta was great! You could still play without a hud and know who was who (with some degree of difficulty, but that's not a problem.

But on release? It's a goddamn mess. Each team has 4 roles with multiple models to unlock and choose from. The variance in style and visual tones / contrast can maybe work alright if everyone uses the stock model and never changes it, but that isn't how players are online, they choose whatever they think is the coolest, leading to a visual cluster **bleep**.

Both teams have players that look nearly identical. Instead of unique consistent visual themes per team, they have a yellow or blue band around their arm... MAYBE. Some skins don't appear to have the band, so relying on the hard-to-see and often obscured arm bands is not reliable either.

Which means that I'm pretty much forced to use a hud. I don't want a hud. Those who think that's silly, yeah actually, I know that. I also really like the immersion experience, and a game like Battlefield, where there is an incredible amount of chaos you are surrounded by... that immersion is fantastic.

But alas, the player models are too similar. My only identifiers are mostly the direction they are coming from, or if they are shooting me (and if I have to wait for that, I'm already dead).

So I humbly ask, on behalf of the 5 or so people who play without a hud...

Can you add some kind of player-model tinting scaler in the hud menu? You offer so many options, but this would make the world of difference for enjoying your game from a completely immersion perspective. I would really, really love to enjoy all the amazing work your artists put into the world of this game without the distractions of a hud (also made by amazing artists).

That's all. Thanks for reading about my issue with the player models. Game looks fantastic, plays fantastic, and is an incredibly good time. You guys did this right, aside from this one issue that actually throws me completely off. There's not many fps games that don't give enough visual in-game information about who is a friend or foe, so I am surprised to see this issue here.

Thank you, stay awesome.
