Please Add Airstrikes / Artillery / Smoke Barrage Killstreak-Style Rewards

Hello Battlefield team,

I want to share a simple but important gameplay idea:
Battlefield 6 needs some kind of reward system for players who perform well — things like airstrikes, artillery call-ins, or smoke barrages.

Right now in modes like Breakout and Rush, it’s very common for a team to get completely stuck because the defenders are dug in so hard that you can’t break into their territory. Even if you’re playing well and getting a lot of kills, you don’t feel like you can make a difference or help your team break through. The game is great, but in those moments it feels like something is missing.

Older Battlefield games (BF1, BFV) had call-ins that let you change the momentum of a match. They made it feel like a real war, and they rewarded players for contributing. Battlefield 6 would really benefit from a system like this.

What I’m asking for (simple version):

Airstrike runs

Artillery strikes

Smoke barrages

A killstreak/reward system for performing well

Something that gives players a chance to impact the match and break stalemates, without being overpowered. This should be available for both attacking and defending teams to keep the system fair and balanced.

Important Balance Idea:

If you add an airstrike that uses an AI-controlled plane, the enemy team should be able to shoot it down. Even if it’s just a scripted flyover, giving the opposing team a chance to stop it would:

make it more realistic

add counterplay

keep it from feeling unfair

reward teams with good reaction time or good anti-air positioning

Only the squad leader should be able to call these in. This keeps it balanced, prevents chaos, and gives the squad leader a meaningful role. It makes the leader actually feel like a leader — someone who has to step up, make strategic decisions, lead the squad to victory, and support the rest of the team.

Why this helps the game:

It rewards players for playing well.

It helps teams push or defend when stuck.

It adds strategic depth.

It brings back that “big war moment” feeling Battlefield is known for.

It makes players feel like their actions matter.

Imagine if you’re playing recon or support, and you’re still doing well, getting kills, supporting your squad — and now you can call in an artillery strike or a smoke barrage to help your team push or hold a position. That kind of moment would make the game feel more immersive, rewarding, and exciting for everyone on both sides.

Thanks for reading — I really believe this could make Battlefield 6 more fun, more strategic, and more true to the Battlefield experience.
