I didn’t buy a multiplayer game to be a sweat lord against bots. +1 Op.
The game is literally 95% based towards PvP. If you're having fun PvP'ing then great. The fact is a bunch of us casual gamers bought this game because of the promise we'd have our own way to play against bots in Portal.
To be clear, I'm not talking about exploiting portal to farm XP. We should be able to play verified modes through portal with bot backfill if we want, and still be able to unlock attachments / gain XP as this is what was advertised.
It has been explained many times that people have their reasons for enjoying the game without having to face against sweats and try hards. The amount of jump sliding garbage makes it play like COD. I'm an older gamer and truly enjoy playing against bots because it's a less stressful and way more enjoyable way to play after a hard day's work. This is what I paid for. Advertising towards a casual population then taking that away within 2 weeks of release is both false advertising and shady business practice.
I don't understand why PvP'ers find it so hard to let casual players play how they want. The multiplayer community will always have a huge population. Play your PvP and have fun and let us casual gamers do our thing.
