Please revert Portal XP back to its original state. I strongly request it.
Why are you arguing with players?
Have you learned nothing from ruining 2042?
Do you want to ruin the game again?
Have you considered the fundamental reason players use portals to fight bots and gain experience?
Because the weapon level and various challenge requirements are too high.
While the weapon level cap has been relaxed, it's only slightly reduced until level 20. After that, it remains the same until level 50. The 1,400 kill requirement is absurd.
So when will it be possible to reach the maximum level of 1,400 kills through pure offense and defense? It's practically impossible, especially for working professionals who lack the skills or time to play.
And the trailer advertised that all experience points would be applied to the portal servers.
However, this is clearly a scam.
You can also block experience rooms individually.
Is shutting down the entire portal server the right way to apply a patch? You seem to think all players will follow this patch.
They might quit the game or request a refund.
There's nothing more to say.
Recover portal experience by at least half,
and further lower the weapon level and various challenge requirements.
(Weapon kills should be reduced from 1,400 to around 400, and challenges should be reduced from hundreds to tens.)
Players absolutely hate pointless grinding that just wastes time.
