Portal Changes

DICE,

what was the point of making portal if people put in effort but are not rewarded. How do you not see this is how you killed 2042 portal? Just make a reasonable rule set so farmers get no or little xp. WTF is so hard about that logic?

Seriously, what was the point of making portal if no one can progress their account?? What would be the reason to play portal now?

The only reason people farm is because the weapon progression is ridiculously slow, and DICE is not yielding on that because they are likely planning to profit from the slow progression by selling fully modded blueprint guns in-game as a pay-to-win method. DICE knows that, they just don't admit it.

Funnily enough this is going to kill their game over time because it's going to make it impossible for new players to get attachments needed for guns to function properly.

2042 didn't have this issue because attachments were tied to player level.

  • I am thinkin of actually quitting as well till they reverse the changes from portal .. why does it gotta affect honest good players who just want to make our own map and grind dailies, assignments, weeklies, whenever on portal felt like the pve version and it was nice and it made shooter different between Cod direction.

  • It has totally changed the game for me. I don't think I will have much to do with it anymore. 100% change for me. There was zero reason to do this and I can't stand their endless incompetence. It never fails they make the dumbest decision and screw us all. I have played since bf1942 and they may have finally hit my last nerve.

  • The reasonable rule set existed, it was called Verified Modes.

It was supposed to allow bots, hardcore changes and whatever they allowed to be changeable, and still to have FULL XP.

Now even this, has restricted XP.

  • I have ceased playing the game and initiated a refund request through my credit card provider. The game no longer aligns with its advertised features. My primary motivation for acquiring it was to engage with bots and casually unlock weaponry. The inability to pre-configure a server, coupled with the current lack of unlock progression even when a server is accessible, has significantly diminished my experience. As a 46-year-old, I typically have only one to three hours per week for leisure and relaxation. The previous system, which allowed for bot play with experience point accumulation, was ideal given my limited internet connectivity at my rural residence. This feature has since been removed, despite still being promoted on your website. Consequently, I am now considering alternative games such as Borderlands or the new Ghost of yotie.

If your pissed off too.. call your credit card company and request a refund for a faulty / not as advertised product. Mine offers up to 30 days no question returns / disputes. Maybe it will wake up ea games and dice.

I asked for a refund from Stream, but it was declined. My next option may be to contact CC company as well. We're an older group of friends who enjoy the battlefield experience without the excess of hardcore players. We held off on Borderlands to get BF6 since it promoted portal matches with bots.

  • I had a ban on my account tonight, could it be caused by joining high XP servers last week?
