PRESTIGE WEAPON ISSUES!?!?

It is very frustrating when you prestige a weapon and can not keep your own attachments. Instead it keeps wanting to apply the attachments thats comes with the prestige skin?!?! Why? No one wants locked in attachments. Everyone plays different and has their personal preference. Please change. Thank you!
