These kinds of gadgets are already quite situational in the games that do use them. I wouldn't mind them adding it, but in the vast majority of the cases, the other grenades are far more useful. If it occupied the gadget slot I think it wouldn't really help either, it doesn't stack up against an ammo crate, m320 launcher or spawn beacon.
