Quick question: would anyone like to see bot-only matches return?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a small and friendly request that I think many players might relate to.

I’m 25, working a full-time job, and like many others, I don’t always have the time or energy for intense PvP sessions or competitive play. Sometimes, after a long and exhausting workday, I just want to turn on the game, clear my head, play quietly for a while, and relax.

In Battlefield 2042, there was a simple option to launch Conquest or Breakthrough matches against bots - either solo or with friends. Even with reduced XP, this mode was great for practice, relaxed play, or short sessions after work.

In Battlefield 6, this option doesn’t seem to be available anymore. While Casual Breakthrough exists, it feels a bit different from being able to start a full match against bots at your own pace.

For some players, this kind of mode is really useful:
- practicing weapons or vehicles
- learning maps and mechanics
- playing casually without pressure
- fitting Battlefield into limited free time

I’m not asking for full progression or rewards. Reduced XP or limited progression would be completely fine. The main idea is simply having an official option to launch normal matches fully against bots again.

I wanted to share this in a positive way and see if others feel the same - would this be something you’d like to see return?

No, go try Casual Breakthrough it's 70% bots and you get the points\ unlocks.

100 percent. It's a great way to warm up, test new weapons, learn new vehicles, etc.
I'm actually surprised it is not an option.

It is an option. You still get rank and battlepass progression. Just not unlocks or challenge progression.

Would rather my team be bots than the average smooth-brained "person" playing this game right now.

Bots, revive, give ammo, repair vehicles, push objectives and once they "lock on" to someone, they can make some nasty precise shots.

Players have been asking the developers for this for months, since their policy completely changed.
Initially, you could play with bots on any map by setting the PORTAL mode to your liking. Then, "farms" appeared, flooding and burdening their servers to the point that creating anything for your own personal enjoyment bordered on the impossible.
Then the developers removed the ability to earn full rewards for the game, leaving only 150% experience for the game. And then they imposed conditions that most of us cannot normally meet – the game launches when there are eight real players in the game.
Apparently, with this action, the developers wanted to put an end to the PORTAL mode, which they initially advertised would give players such freedom and enjoyment – and it has proven to be as they always have. And so far, they haven't done anything about it, although players are asking for the ability to play with bots solo/with friends, even without rewards, to be restored – just for fun, but they clearly don't care.
And if it weren't for talented players like Ty_Ger07 and his game servers, we wouldn't be able to enjoy this game the way we want - for fun, because that's what these games are all about.
