Railway to Golmud breakthrough..

The engi launcher meanwhile still suck and rarely get a kill.  I'm confident the IGLA STILL doesn't work as advertised but no one cares because it was broken on launch and broken for so long that it's never going to get used unless it's REALLY strong.  Which, seeing as how much someone must have babyraged on the dev team when they got shot down, will never happen.

Well said, and the aircraft are completely awful, unplayable. Imagine if they were in a normal state, it would be a massacre. I honestly don't know how it's possible that a company like this isn't able to identify these problems.

EA must be hiring Devs that are standing around the local convience store looking for jobs. How many more times does this issue concerning a Breakthrough map need to be discussed before this EA team listens? Feedback to the EA team seems useless.

It's almost impossible to get a win on this map as defence. You get smashed off the first point by multiple armoured vehicles when you have none yourself, and then outnumbered 3 or 4 to 1 on vehicles in the rest of them.

this is not an aircraft issue

This is an issue of how BT is designed in BF6 where the attackers are almost always given an overwhelming advantage that  allows them to steamroll the defenders.

The only map where the defenders have good odds is BT Contaminated where the 3rd and especially the 4th sectors are hard to attack and the defenders end up getting both a tank and an IFV to help them hold the objectives that  are quite far apart from each other.

Having a little bird with no effective anti-air is partially an aircraft issue in this map.

Overall it's the problem of DICE changing their philosophy about how Breakthrough should operate after launch.

Breakthrough used to be very infantry heavy. It was about squads of infantry soldiers getting into a point and clearing them out, pushing the enemy off that cap and being able to use the new spawn to launch an attack into the other flag.

In December DICE added loads of vehicles. Certain maps you can end up with half a dozen vehicles on attack.

This is a known problem for a while now, and Golmud makes it really obvious.

The only time I got a win on defence Golmud was taking a full anti-vehicle IFV loadout and needing two repair guys & the enemy team having bad vehicle players. Even then we almost got swarmed on the last flag by infantry but I was able to push into it to save it from being capped. That was a max sweat hard carry and wasn't fun.

Breakthrough was my favourite mode at launch. I would play one or two games per day to get my daily things done and maybe a few more games for fun. Now I play one map of blackwell domination to get it over with and don't play the game overall as much.

Do you live in the same reality as everyone else? Aircraft are incredibly good in this game, people who think it isn't are bad pilots.

Aircraft are in their weakest state in BF history. They’re easier than ever to shoot down.
