Regarding Gameplay with 10 or More Players via Game Join

Today, a Japanese VTuber who appeared in my YouTube recommendations was playing a game with a party of more than 10 friends while chatting via voice chat.
But can this really be called a “fair game”?
On one side, there’s a group of more than 10 players who can communicate perfectly with each other, while on the other side, there’s a group that can’t communicate at all—this clearly lacks fairness.
In an environment like this, isn’t it only natural that there would be so many matches decided by a landslide, or matches where the outcome is determined immediately after the start when all bases are captured?
To improve user satisfaction, I believe this game join feature should be significantly restricted or completely eliminated.

  • This is why I'm against platoons.  Maybe if they balance the platoon between the two teams it could be acceptable, but playing against a 12 player premade who are actually using good comms and helping each on purpose?  It's going to suck for regular solo player, or people who have 1 or 2 friends they play with.

At the very least, QM modes should have platoons off, and you would have to actually use the server browser to find a server that has it turned on.
