Most of my deaths to snipers are PSR or M2010. I liked the mini scout because it automagically gets the ADS bolt, but I use the ADS bolt with irons on all my rifles anyways because all I want to do is smoke useless snipers.
If I were to say anything about snipers, it's that the damage falloff bell scale is moronic. BUT, I also think the 1 shot body kill is stupid as well. They are in a bad place because it's stupid easy to get kills with them in BF6, even more so because they deleted the real suppresion mechanic and now snipers just get free reign to be... not great people.
Maybe also the SV needs a buff. The effective range needs to be extended towards the lower spectrum by about 10-15 meters.
The MS though, it's great where it is.
Certainly, there are still many unsatisfactory elements with sniper rifles overall.
I also believe that one-shot kills to the torso significantly diminish the appeal of sniper rifles, so I hope that element is removed promptly.
I agree the Mini Scout is a fantastic gun on its own merits, but what puzzles me is that despite its description labeling it as mid-range, it performs just as well or even better than other snipers at long range.
It's a shame to see it underused when there are other compelling sniper rifles available.
