Region control and ping limits

Question

This game need some kind of region control and ping limits. When you have ping enabled - you very often see someone entering server with a high ping. Servers had ping limits in the old BF 3 and 4 - why did they stop with that ?

Today we have vpn and someone from Japan can join a server in Europe using this. I usually have below 20 ms ping and when someone joins with 200-300 ms ping - I can tell instantly.

As soon as server only have below 80 ms players things run smooth and perfect again. If you live in Europe you should only join Europe servers, USA only USA servers and so on.

Servers have problems with this huge difference in pings - have to compensate for this. You can look that up how it works.

Besides that - I don't see any cheaters anymore so big kudos to javelin anti cheat. Think all those that complains about cheaters are running into the "network cheaters" that enter your server from way to long distance and give you the delay. To you it will look like aimbot as you die instantly.

No dude, we know what cheaters look like in their various forms. It's got nothing to do with the network. Please don't try to make out as though EA have stopped hacking and that no one else understands things but you do.

This guy is stupid, and yes high ping usually means a cheater, giving community servers the ability to limit by ping would limit cheaters in those server ever single human being knows this and why.&nbsp;&nbsp;

There's no reason that the game should not kick people who have an average or extended ping that is too high. That sort of control should at least be given to custom servers which are allowed to do anything else but automated moderation. The fact that no BF6 server of any type can moderate its players by automated means seems deliberate and heavy-handed. I don't understand why or how the current design benefits the players.
