The problem is not the mechanic but its implementation an here is how it should been done
Range finder needs better implementation.
First it shouldn't change or set the zeroing distance but instead it should passively give you distance to what you are aiming. This will help with key binding issues
2nd recon should manually set zeroing distance, increase or decrease based on what RF displays
Maps are small and bullet drop is nonexistent so range finder is rather pointless at least to me but this way it would allow beginners to get a more immersive experience
Sweet spot has the same problem as it should be deliberate not just lucky.
1st to trigger it you have to hold your breath and gain focus by briefly staying still for a moment, this allows snipers to be open for counter in exchange for a single hit Ko
2nd recon needs to remain focus so if you get shot, move, or prematurely shot you'll have to regain focus before activating Sweet spot again "repeat 1st step"
3th you can shoot without holding your breath but sweet spot won't activate, therefore no lucky shots at any range unless you get a head shot.
Personally I would prefer not having a rainbow when you activate sweet spot but either way i have no real issue with that
